Gourd Carousel
This piece is called "Safari Carousel...a tribute". The general idea was conceived several years ago, but I did not begin painting in earnest until we were all shocked by news of the untimely death of Steve Irwin, that charasmatic, nutsy, gutsy Crocodile Hunter, in 2006. The diameter is 14", and the height is 7".
